On the 23rd a 23-year-old woman was slapped in the head on West 42nd street.\u00a0 On the 19th a 30-year-old woman was slugged on Delancey Street.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On April 24th the New York Daily News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/stranger-punches-girl-nyc-grand-181000638.html\">reported<\/a> on, Jean Carlos Zarzuela, a vagrant who punched a woman breaking her nose.\u00a0 Four days after his release without bail, Zarzuela went to Grand Central Station and sucker-punched a 9-year-old girl.\u00a0 He is also a suspect in the April 4 attack on a 56-year-old woman, also at Grand Central Station.\u00a0 A few days later CBS News<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/news\/woman-pushed-down-stairs-saint-demetrios-church-queens-nyc\/\"> reported<\/a> on a 16-year-old teen who ran up behind a 68-year-old woman walking up the steps at her New York church, knocking her down and beating her before stealing her purse.\u00a0 The victim suffered a fractured skull and was in the ICU for several days.<\/p>\n<p>None of this is unusual.
