Her posts on SCOTUSblog and <a href=\"https:\/\/amylhowe.com\/\">her own blog<\/a> have long been my go-to source for thorough and unbiased reports on Supreme Court cases that are outside my own field of expertise.<\/p>\n<p>The usual squawkers are squawking that The Dispatch is &#8220;right-wing.&#8221; See, e.g., <a href=\"https:\/\/abovethelaw.com\/2025\/04\/scotusblog-gets-gobbled-up-by-right-leaning-media\/\">this post<\/a> at Above the Law. But a quick look at The Dispatch&#8217;s home page illustrates how meaningless such simplistic designations are. They are certainly not Trump fans. One post is titled &#8220;Trump&#8217;s Team of Losers.&#8221; The <a href=\"https:\/\/thedispatch.com\/article\/the-manifesto\/\">Founding Manifesto<\/a> states, &#8220;The goal was to create a place where thoughtful readers can come for conservative, fact-based news and commentary that doesn\u2019t come either through the filter of the mainstream media or the increasingly boosterish media on the right.&#8221; That&#8217;s a long way from the image usually conjured up by the term &#8220;right wing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Amy&#8217;s post notes, &#8220;We [SCOTUSblog] have scaled back our coverage in recent years as the costs of that coverage grew, but through our partnership with The Dispatch, we will be able to restore SCOTUSblog\u2019s publishing capabilities, including expanded analysis for all merits cases and oral arguments.&#8221; Indeed, SCOTUSblog has shrunk in recent years, with Amy&#8217;s own posts being about all that I read there any more.
