The Metropolitan News-Enterprise has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metnews.com\/articles\/2023\/second_amendment_050123.htm\">this story<\/a>. The same court had previously upheld the predecessor statute, and the new opinion held that the U.S. Supreme Court&#8217;s decision last year in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/21pdf\/20-843_new_m648.pdf\"><em>New York State Rifle &amp; Piston Assn., Inc. v. Bruen<\/em><\/a> did not change the outcome of this issue.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The case is <em>People v. Bocanegra<\/em>, No. C095234.
