Colorado Legislative Cowards Block People’s Right to Review Their Decision on Death Penalty

Today the Governor of Colorado signed the bill repealing the death penalty. Repeal is a subject that reasonable people can and do disagree on. However, in a shameless act of legislative cowardice, the Legislature put a patently false declaration in the bill for the sole purpose of defeating the power of referendum that the people of Colorado have reserved to themselves. “Woke Prosecutor” Movement Stumbling in LA

There a nationwide drive to install prosecutors who are actually “defense lawyer[s] with power,” as Philly’s Larry Krasner described himself. It is fueled by massive campaign contributions from entities controlled by George Soros and more recently with Netflix dollars. But the drive appears to have stumbled in massive Los Angeles County.

May I introduce to you, then, a new and uniquely destructive actor on the 21st-century scene: the progressive prosecutor.

For such law “enforcers,” the obstruction of immigration-law enforcement barely scratches the surface. The agenda here is to obstruct prosecution itself.
