Telephone Arguments in SCOTUS
The U.S. Supreme Court will hold oral arguments by telephone in early May in some of the cases where the regularly scheduled argument was postponed due to COVID-19. According to the press release, live audio will be available to the news media.
The criminal and related cases include McGirt v. Oklahoma, No. 18-9526, on the extent of the federal government’s exclusive “Indian country” criminal jurisdiction in that state, and Trump v. Vance, No. 19-635, on the NYDA’s subpoena for President Trump’s financial records.
